Introduction The Aurum Institute based in Parktown is offering a great opportunity to suitably qualified and experienced staff to contribute towards our mission to improve the health of people and communities through innovation in Global TB and HIV integration. We are focused on researching, supporting and implementing integrated approaches to managing TB and HIV.

Specification YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Management of participant reimbursement by liaising with external stake holders.
Other administrative duties as requested by the project manager.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that all staff are using current versions of Study documents, e.g., Protocol specific documents, program specific documents.
Identify training needs in and give feedback to the Project Manager.
Give guidance on Quality Control on study procedures.
Provide training on quality related topics.
Ability to generate reports from Excel Data.

Requirements YOU SHOULD HAVE:

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Relevant degree/diploma in Health, Sciences or Social Sciences or equivalent education.
Previous work experience in a quality assurance/control environment.
Proficiency in written and spoken English

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrable, thorough understanding of HIV/AIDS epidemic
Ability to read and write activity reports.
Good communication and the ability to establish effective, trusting working relationships with patients.
Demonstrable empathy, compassion and an understanding of the cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in the community
Ability and willingness to learn.
Always maintain positive attitude.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Good personal time management.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land or air if required.
Understanding of HIV/AIDS and TB
Valid Driver’s license
Own transport
Open and clear communicator
Focused on quality and detail.

NB: Non –South African citizens must have a valid work-permit.
