PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To ensure that all data is captured correctly from the mine to the respective destinations and ports, dispatches of road trucks are captured daily from the mine into a formalized system to be made available to all stakeholders. Ensure that invoices are downloaded timeously for payment.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
· Attend to discrepancies on weighbridge slips
· Upload invoices
· Filing of POD’s
· Ordering of stationary and office supplies
· Ensure road and rail consignments are populated timeously
· Manage the filing of all relevant documentation for auditing purposes
· Must be able to stand in for the Logistics Superintendent
· Take minutes of meetings
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
· Grade 12
· Computer Literacy (Microsoft Excel)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
· 2 Years logistics/administrative experience
· Above-average computer literacy (Microsoft packages with preference to Excel)
· Sound knowledge of Road and Rail operations
· Sage Knowledge
· Previous mining experience will be advantageous
