On the Dot, a subsidiary of Media24 in Gauteng, currently requires the services of a Quality Administrator.
We seek to appoint dynamic and energetic individuals to assume responsibility as SHEQ Coordinator, reporting to the Health & Safety Officer. The position will be based at their offices in Ormonde.

Main Purpose of the Role
To co-ordinate and manage the flow of work and resources in in all areas of distribution in such a manner that
daily production targets to be achieved and client SLA’s adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Plan and schedule daily workflow and production requirements for each team according to previously established sequences and lead times
  • Compile and update schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet distribution dates according to customer orders
  • Monitor progress to track performance against the plan and to identify early warning signs
  • Identify and initiate taking of corrective action
  • Monitor compliance with lead times, correcting where necessary
  • Monitor compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, taking corrective action where required
  • Monitor stock inventories, acting on reported deviations
  • Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects, and review factors that affect schedules
  • Act on customer queries and complaints, delegating for investigation and identifying underlying issues; Follow up to ensure satisfactory resolution of problems, and that feedback has been provided timeously to the Customer
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Prepare production reports on a monthly basis or as required, to assist with management decision making; ensure that reporting information is accurate and provided on time
  • Plan, select, develop and maintain suitable ISP capabilities for area of responsibility, and supervise, lead and maintain a motivated and high performance team (ISP’s)
  • Space and capacity planning
  • Manage certain costs within allocated budget, e.g. overtime and staffing costs (ISP’s)
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health, safety, and quality guidelines


  • Grade 12
  • At least 1 years tertiary training in logistics/distribution preferably
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Distribution Centre or Production Environment At least 2 years supervisory experience


  • Knowledge of production processes, standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of good practice (e.g. labour legislation, OHSA, Road &
    Transport Act of SA)
  • Proficient in relevant software packages and applications
  • Valid code B or higher divers license
