Direct Reporting Line:
Graduate Placement Manager

Job Purpose:

Responsible for all operations within the Rosebank College Employability Department.  Management of key internal and external partner relationships; manage projects and initiatives and execute deliverables in support of the IIE Rosebank Colleges overall graduate employability strategy.

Key Performance Area:

  • Provide Operations leadership to the Rosebank College Graduate Employment Programme and to oversee all the Career Centre activities on all campuses.
  • Execute the implementation plan by providing day to day tactical oversight of relationships and projects within the Employability Department
  • Develop a Strategic Employer Engagement Plan to increase work integrated learning and the placements of RC students and graduates
  • Experience of engagement and partnership working with external stakeholders, particularly employers and those organisations that represent employers of all sizes
  • Develop, nurture relationships and maintain ongoing engagement with national and provincial government, NGO’s, employers and trade
  • Lead and oversee the development of Campus Career Fairs that attract potential graduate employers
  • Analyse and leverage data to identify areas for effectiveness, efficiency and growth.
  • Coordinates cross functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget


  • Bachelor’s degree is essential
Work Experience:

  • 5 – 7+ years’ experience in the Higher Education or related sector
  • Experience in the set up and/or running of employability programmes or a career centre in a Higher Education institution is advantageous
  • Experience in implementing new projects and initiatives
  • An Entrepreneurial flair would be an added advantage
