Overall Job Function
The Costing Administrator : Logistics is to ensure correct costing and administration of all imported goods being raw materials, finished goods, CAPEX orders and consignment stock. Ensure that mold/ container and transport administration are updated and managed.
Costing processing of:
Monthly submission of WTM to SARS
Liaison with SARS
Capture schedule for imports and raw materials
Capturing of the MIRO’s for each order
Use FB60 on SAP to allow factory to be able to GRV shipments
Delivery Planning / Order Fulfilment
Ensure that stock for monthly sales forecasts are made available and delivered on time to customers
Mold & container administration
Ensuring that administration is checked and updated on daily basis
Tracking of equipment and reporting of any deviation from delivery plan
Upkeep of transporters files
Customer rates administration on SAP
Recommending improvements in systems and procedures
Ensuring that all documentation and files are maintained in logical and sound sequence
Upkeep of shipment files to ensure compliance to SARS requirements.
Adhoc administrative tasks related to the SCM department.
Back up to buyers of FG/Merchanting & Logistics Controllers.
Ensure sound group collaboration
Keeping all departments informed with regards to all aspects of the position that impact on their functions eg. Costing to GRV.
Ensuring that a harmonious working environment is maintained in the department. Stressing the need for a mature professional approach to liaison with suppliers and internal customers.
Formal qualification in Supply Chain Management
Formal qualification in finance or taxation would be preferential
Three to five year’s relevant experience
Good understanding of costing if not correctly applied to shipments
Understand the need for supplier relationships & its business impact
Logistics fundamentals and practices
Teamwork and self-motivation
Maintaining focus on a company and departmental goals
