An exciting opportunity exists for a DIGITAL CONTENT COMMUNITY ASSISTANT at Marketing Shared Services Division in BryanstonJohannesburg. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for deploying, responding, and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

Job Specification:

Key Performance Areas:

  • Working alongside the Digital manager to generate new ideas for social content to drive communications
  • Deploying on time social media content
  • Respond to comments, when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience
  • Escalate User Generated Content, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders
  • Review user-generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner
  • Engaging with Fans and Followers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement
  • Monitoring the success of the community and of social media in terms of the overall marketing strategy
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to relay customer feedback insights gained from online conversations within the community

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:                                                                   

  • At least 2 years’ social media community management experience

Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Design will be highly advantageous

Additional Requirements:

  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Linkedin etc.), and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
