ROLE OVERVIEW

The Digital Media Specialist is a multi-faceted role focusing on nudge’s project-related social-media sourced sample recruitment campaigns together with designing, implementing, and monitoring nudge’s corporate on-line presence to achieve both nudge’s project recruitment and corporate digital marketing objectives.

 

FORMAL ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with majors in: English, journalism, communications, marketing, creative writing, technical writing, or information management.
  • Five [5] years corporate work experience in a Digital Marketing; Media Buying and Media Campaign role(s).

 

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply the latest techniques and business standards in terms of advertising and managing campaigns on Social Media Platforms such as: Facebook; Instagram; Snapchat; Google-Ad’s; Pinterest, Linked-in etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in key areas of marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing etc.)
  • Creative content design skills (both in terms of text and visualisation)
  • Know how to plan, create, implement, and monitor a marketing strategy to ensure effectiveness.
  • Understand and use marketing management and measurement tools to manage and enhance recruitment and marketing campaigns
  • Experience with visual communication principles
  • Familiarity with web designand content management systems
  • Flexibility in terms of days and hours of work [the nature of the role requires weekend work]
  • Sound practical experience in Microsoft Office software packages, i.e., Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Account administration which includes maintaining and managing all social media channels
  • Defining and executing a media plan aligned with nudge’s corporate image, brand, and business objectives
  • Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos etc.
  • Set-up, monitor and improve search engine optimization [SEO]
  • Analyse and report on web traffic, analytics, and website engagement
  • Digital agency [supplier] relationship management and project management

 

RESEARCH SAMPLE SOURCE CAMPAIGNS

(Twitter; Facebook; Instagram; Linked-in; Google Ad’s; Native Advertising etc.)

  • Social media account administration and management
  • Campaign design, set-up, and execution in line with Research sample objectives
  • Daily campaign management in terms of spend, reach, and research sample objectives
  • Effective campaign management to ensure sample delivery within budget; striving for wave-on-wave improvements and cost-saving
  • Social Media, Insight Community and Consumer Panel page management including:
  • Page set-up, standards, and compliance maintenance
  • Page administration
  • Page management in terms of: standards, followers, comments; posts; performance etc.
  • Member engagement plan input and plan execution
  • Staying ahead in terms of social media advertising tools, digital media technologies and the latest trends
  • Sourcing and testing new social media and other platforms through which research sample can be accessed
  • providing input into proposals in terms of social media sample sources and costs
  • Report back on campaign and financial metrics
