Our client provides cutting-edge automation solutions and they require a Digital Technologist.  This is a remote position.

The role of a digital technologist involves the design and implementation of digital skills, strategies and solutions in the workplace. The responsibilities of the job will vary depending on which industry the digital technologist is employed in but may include coding and programming, cybersecurity, developing and using robotic and automation technologies, leveraging information, and communication technology skills in business

Technical understanding of Azure Cloud Platform and Solution Design
• Experience with architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting
• greenfield and/or migration projects using Azure Cloud Platform
• Cloud Certification is a plus
• Proficiency in most provider-specific services and experience architecting and implementing
• Deep technical experience in one or more of the following competencies:
• Software design or development (continuous delivery/integration, adoption of DevOps practices)
• Systems Operations / Management
• Enterprise Architecture
• Infrastructure Design
• IT Security and Governance
• Automation and System Orchestration
• Technical Leadership – Provides technical architecture leadership and direction on project engagements, in conjunction with the Architecture team
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer facing experience of a consultative nature with Vendor Management skills
• Contributes to improving existing knowledge-based content, reusable assets, or best practice materials.
• Analyse performance of applications and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with stakeholders after obtaining necessary approval
• Within the prescribed constraints and team methodology, able to independently complete a unit of work from analysis to delivery
• Working in an Agile environment
• Experience in working in a SAFE Agile environment

• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
• 5+ years of experience with managing large-scale, multiyear transformation engagements for clients in the areas of digital strategy, Agile software development, and user experience
• 5+ years of experience with business strategy or technology focused on digital issues, including any combination of social media, mobile devices, Cloud computing and as a service business models, eCommerce and channel strategy, or user experience
• 5+ years of experience with digital Web architecture, mobile and technologies trends, including products from leading firms in the digital services space, such as Google, Amazon, Apple, and Salesforce
• 5+ years of experience with quantitative approaches to problem-solving and recommendation development and proactive independent research to identify related industry insights, best practices, and applicable recommendation area
• 5+ years of experience with applying multiple software methodologies and processes, including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and conducting assessments to inform customer service or digital service offering business development initiatives at competitor
• Experience with leading rapid design or prototyping sessions in 90-120 day sprints to develop client business strategy at the service, business, or enterprise-level

Experience with mobile or digital tools and applications for diverse user purposes preferred
• Experience with applying multiple software methodologies and processes, including Agile
• Ability to define and deliver a channel-specific or cross-channel customer service strategy and implementation roadmap
• Ability to visualize and develop road maps, use cases, concept of operations, models, architecture frameworks, requirements, processes and tools, basis of estimates, delivery staffing structures, information-rich diagrams, and flow diagrams
• Ability to assist and motivate team members to create high-performance team dynamics and output
• Firm understanding of the SAFE agile methodology.
