Overall Purpose of the Job: The incumbent will be responsible for managing all guarding operational aspects for the Inland Region, as well as strategically plan and manage operational effectiveness and budget control.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • National Diploma in Security Management or equivalent
  • PSIRA Registered – Grade B
  • Valid Firearm Competency certificate
  • Computer Literate (MS Office suite)
  • Management experience (Minimum 5 years)
  • Excellent communication skills (English)
  • Sound knowledge of Easy Roster system
  • Sound knowledge of the security industry
  • Sound knowledge of HR and ER
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial statements of the department
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be available on standby


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Manage existing contracts on a daily basis
  • Manage costs and grow business in the Inland Region by obtaining new profitable contracts
  • Attend client meetings
  • Conduct detailed risk assessments
  • Submission of daily packs
  • Dealing with all operational queries
  • Manage all staff (operational and admin)
  • Conduct site visits
  • Ad hoc duties that may be required by the business
  • Managing attrition in LSS and complex sites.
  • Maintain a 65% reconnection rate in LSS and complexes.
  • Work with the subscriber team to maintain the profitability in LSS/ closers.
  • Manage the sales consultants and grow the guarding business.
  • Work with the subscriber business to increase the number of LSS/closures.
  • Check all the costing for tenders.
