Job Description

The position is responsible to conduct auditing of Health and safety compliance onsite for the business.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applying SHE Principles and Procedures (ASHEPP) Certificate.
  • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) Certificate.
  • Advanced OHS Act Certificate or equivalent occupational OHS training
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Practical understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act 95, 1993.
  • 1 year in a Health and Safety role.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal audits and inspections relating to Health and Safety at all branches nationally.
  • Evaluate findings for conformance/non-conformance to legislation.
  • Reporting on non-conformances.
  • Implementing and managing corrective actions.
  • Make recommendations to the business based on findings.
