JOB DESCRIPTION:

To ensure that a stable industrial relations climate exists within Educor through the provision of high quality disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes.
To carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation; and talent management consultation.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

•Effortlessly foster and maintain a high degree of trust within the relationships you build through the trademark service you provide while meeting the needs of our employees.
•Effectively collaborate with business and partners to complete cross-functional tasks and resolve people matters that arise.
•Take the lead on employee incident reviews and investigations to ensure processes are followed consistently and due diligence has been done.
•Provide sound advice on workplace policies & procedures and share knowledge appropriately on applicable legislation
•You build a high level of credibility with senior leaders.
• The mitigation of potential HR related risks and issues.
•Ensure advice and guidance to business groups is supported by sound research.
•Monitor the implementation of any HR initiative and keep the business on track.
•Provide guidance to the business Group during the business planning process and in measuring success

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

1.Relevant Degree in HR.
2.5 (five) years’ experience as an HR Generalist.
3.Sound understanding of labour legislation: BCEA, LRA, EE, SDA, Health and Safety.
4.Proven knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components to include sourcing; qualifying; networking; assessing; selling and wage/salary trends
5.Exposure to a payroll system.
6.Excellent computer literacy is essential especially in MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
