This position will be based at the Head Office in Woodmead.


The HRD Administrator is responsible for the effective administration and support for the Training Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance and support to the Training Department to ensure record accuracy and availability and budget compliance
  • Updating of the training database and matrices
  • Ensure training complies with MQA and ISO standards and practices
  • Responsible for coordinating and monitoring training and development for new and existing employees
  • Coordinate the availability, venues and accommodation related to training and training service providers according to the training plan
  • Participate in the development of training materials and the documentation of technical processes including updating of training standards and procedures
  • Provide a day-to-day support for the departments with regard to Training and development
  • Control the administrative tasks needed to maintain the training system database, which includes training records and files, and employee updates
  • Schedule training activities with management so that training requirements are according to plan
  • Assist Department Managers and Superintendents with the development and review of Departmental Training Needs
  • General administration of the Minopex Induction Training
  • Update changes to modules, and new modules on the Learner Management System
  • Keep all training records and files up to date according to Company requirements
  • Ensure all training source documents are filed and accessible according to sound record administration standards
  • Compile various training reports and ensure distribution according to organizational requirements
  • Follow-up on annual Induction / Refresher Training and all other expired certifications in advance and notify the sites accordingly
  • Capture relevant training information on the Learner Management System
  • Assist with MQA document compliance

Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12 with a HR or Training related qualification
  • Learner Management Systems
  • Computer Literate in MS Office (Advanced Excel and Word)
  • Valid driver’s licence code B, EB or C1
  • Own transport

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in a HR / HRD environment
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Time management skills
