Join us in this exciting opportunity as a Human Resources Development Coordinator to co-ordinate training interventions at Mortimer Smelter Operation as a support to grow our staff.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the coordination of production, engineering and service related technical training through an accredited learning delivery system.

You will provide effective Human Resource Development process services to support the achievement of plans and ensure a smooth and effective management of systems.

You will also be liaising and engaging with the operational HOD’s on delivery priorities.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to provide expert advice, support employees and operational departments alike by coordinating the training needs analysis, planning, assessments, moderation and compilation of training reports of employees.

Part of this role will be to manage operational contractor training and coordinate & evaluate external training providers.

This role is in the Human Resource Development Department and is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Manager Production.

Qualifications:
  • OD ETDP level 5 Higher certificate
  • Assessor and Moderator Certificates
  • NQF 6 OD ETDP Diploma will be advantageous
  • Risk Management Certification – advantageous
  • Relevant Management Programme will be advantageous

Experience

  • 5 years processing (smelting) experience including 2 years HRD experience
  • Projects experience – Advantageous
  • Operating Model implementation experience – Advantageous
