Industrial Engineering Intern

The incumbent will be responsible to collect data for time study purposes and assist with implementation Business Improvement initiatives, methodologies, strategies and associated techniques/ technology for delivery of substantial cost reductions and efficiency improvements.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

•Effective analytical support is provided for the Business Improvement function
•Effective implementation support is provided for the Business Improvement function
•Strong improvement skills and insight into key development functions/ operations is developed and maintained
•Value-adding Business Improvement projects, ideas and strategies are implemented
•Congenial relationship with Business Improvement stakeholders is established and maintained

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
•Student currently completing a National Diploma/Degree in Industrial Engineering

EXPERIENCE
•No work experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
•Theoretical knowledge in Project Management
•Theoretical knowledge in 5s implementation, Lean Manufacturing and generating of process flow.
•Understanding of Business Improvement principles
•Working with innovative ideas
