Job Purpose

Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing all aspects of technical support to end users within the constraints of the technical processes, thereby ensuring stability and maximal availability of these infrastructure components to the unit.


Senior Certificate Matric

IT Diploma NQF Level 6



MCSE and CCNENT certification would be an advantage

Drivers License



Minimum of 2 years relevant and current IT support experience obtained in a large IT Help Desk Environment with an emphasis on Customer Service delivery.

Skills and Knowledge

MCITP; Server Administration

ITIL Simulation

IT Gaming and Hospitality Training will be added advantage

Dell: OSD Desktop and Notebook

Relevant Leadership Pipeline Qualification-Manage Self Technical

2nd level fault closure as per the SLA (process execution)

Escalation procedures are adhered to

User training needs identified and resolved through on the job couching

Recommendations for continuous improvements as per identified faults

Work orders executed within required SLA

Minimize errors due to incomplete request specifications

Stability of IT facility infrastructure components

Adherence to system maintenance requirements as per business needs and SOP€™s

Ensure company Project Management guidelines adhered to
