An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Human Resources Officer at I&J, Primary Processing Site, Woodstock, Cape Town. The purpose of this role is to assist the Senior HR Manager and Senior HR Officer by providing generalist human resources services to the business unit. Partner with the business unit’s line managers to enable and improve line capacity and effectiveness with regard to the following HR services: Employee Document administration, Benefit Administration and HR Projects, Learning and Development, Employee Wellness, IR, Performance Management, Recruiting and Staffing, Transformation and HR Reporting, Statistics and Audit Compliance.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ Human Resource Generalist experience


  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in an HR discipline
  • Advanced Diploma or Honours Degree would be advantageous

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge of Interviewing and Investigation skills
  • Knowledge of interaction between HR disciplines
  • Knowledge of Financial processes
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Labour Legislation
