The Michaelhouse Mathematics Department is a place of high expectations. We have high expectations of our
boys and we have high expectations of ourselves. It is also a place of learning and growth and we take great
pride in the way we develop and grow one another in the art and craft of teaching Mathematics. An opportunity
exists to join our high functioning team. Duties will include teaching a range of classes, involvement in a variety of co-curricular and pastoral duties within the school. If you are an innovative, passionate Mathematician

Commencement date: Term 3 or 4. We could possibly consider a January 2022 start.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION ARE:
• A degree.
• A professional teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics from Grades 8 to 12.
• Experience with the IEB and / or with Advanced Programme Mathematics will be advantageous, as will
competence in the compelling use of technology as a tool for teaching and learning.
• Be able to drive a curiosity and passion for learning the subject.
• Creativity and innovation in the classroom.
• A current registration with SACE.
ACCOMMODATION:
Housing will be provided on or near the Michaelhouse estate to facilitate full involvement in the school
programme.
