Job Description
The above position is vacant at our Western Cape Parow Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to do mechanical and electrical work on security and risk items.

Minimum Requirements:

Clear criminal record
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
At least 5 years experience in technical/ maintenance work on the Bulugaya System
Must be able to work unsupervised
Must have knowledge of different types of vehicles
Experience in servicing of vehicles
Must be able to rebuild a diesel and petrol engine (various makes of vehicles)
Valid drivers license
Own transport is an advantage
Must be willing to travel and work extended hours when required
Job Specification (not totally inclusive):

Replacement of all working parts of the various vehicle systems, including general maintenance on all working parts of the vehicle systems
Diagnosing electrical issues and vehicle security systems
Checking and replacement of the required wiring of the vehicle system
General maintenance on OTC vehicles including replacement of faulty OTC locks and attending to vehicle breakdowns
Servicing of vehicles
Must be able to rebuild a diesel and petrol engine (various makes of vehicles)
Compiling paperwork for each vehicle
Replacement of broken keypads
