Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Merchandise Administrator. Maintain all Procurement database systems and update these databases on a daily basis to ensure efficient business operations. You will also be required to ensure day to day functionality and support of Kronos time and attendance system which includes timekeeping and / or internal business units as required. Your role will include business intelligence reporting from the Kronos system.

Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

  • Grade 12/Matric or Senior Certificate
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Clerical or Admin role
  • SAP

Advantageous:

  • Kronos Time and Attendance Systems Certification
  • 1 – 2 Years Kronos Time and Attendance Systems Experience

Job Specification:

  • Work closely with Business owners of Vendors/Labour brokers to assist with queries of day to day function as arise
  • Be responsible for all maintenance and accuracy of all Vendor/Labour broker employee master data.
  • Ensure delivering of daily, weekly and monthly reports to all Stakeholders timeously.
  • Preparation and delivery of company Kronos reporting portfolio.
  • Accurately list, load and Jab any take-on forms as per Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.
  • Make sure that any promotions are listed and loaded in time and Jabbed before promotion starts and make sure they end at specified time as per management requirements.
  • Maintain any price increase or decreases on the Procurement Systems.
  • Ensure pricing data is maintained and updated as per management instructions.
  • Inform management of any price discrepancies that might appear.
  • Load all promotional deals timeously.
  • Liase with suppliers for all vendor prize increases
  • Support all category buyers to ensure no financial losses occur on stock.
  • Ensure monthly prices files to be sent to relevant buyers.
  • Daily SAP prices executed on SAP to cross check correct prising.
  • Support finance on all vendor queries related to merchandise prising.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules in
  • Adjust time by editing or adding punches using completed Kronos sheets.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
  • Assist in addressing employee pay related concerns and provide accurate payroll information.
  • Prepare data and compile reports when required.
  • Manage and control staff attendance, overtime and timecards.
  • Attend to assigned heat calls daily to ensure problems or concerns are addressed in the most least time and most cost-effective manner possible.
  • Escalate unresolved problems or concerns to management to facilitate the problem-solving process.
  • Assist employees with any Kronos queries they might have and if necessary direct the queries to the relevant people and /or management.
  • Assist & support the Kronos Team when required.
  • Resolve any heat calls as per standard operating procedures.
