A platinum mine in the Northwest province is looking for a Mine Overseer with extensive experience in narrow reef mining. This expansion project will require someone with training abilities to part knowledge on junior staff members and creating a pro-learning environment, assess team needs and closing the gap.  Manage, control and improve production and mining operations, including contractor performance, safety, quality, production, cost and continuous improvement, propose cost saving initiatives, keep up to date with the developments to improve process and increase production will form part of your role.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Blasting Certificate
Mine Overseer Certificate (non-negotiable)
Mine Managers Certificate (advantageous)

Projects experience (advantageous)

Training and facilitation experience
