BedRock, part of the TWK Group, has the following vacancy available: Operational Logistics Co-Ordinator at Pretoria, Gauteng.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for co-ordinating logistics inside the business
• Ensuring that all deliveries are communicated in an effective way and achieving the highest possible level of customer service
• Communicate estimated and/or late deliveries timeously to customers
• Compile daily report on orders processed
• Ensure outstanding feedback on loads completed
• Resolve customer queries
• Check and filter on unplannable orders, determine cause of problem
• Review orders on TMS
• Follow up and resolution of incorrect dates on sales orders
• Co-ordinate manual orders
• Work effectively in a team to enhance team performance
• Provide and receive constructive feedback to and from Logistics Department and operational business units
• Participate in planning sessions
• Build strong relationships within manufacturing and marketing of timber products
• Willing to work overtime when required

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transport/logistics
• Experience and qualifications in logistics or related industry
• Computer literate
• Driver’s license
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Team player
