Job Description

Alert Engine Parts is searching for a Part Selector to join the branch in Polokwane. The successful candidate will perform duties such as stock taking, picking, moving stock and ensuring the work space is kept clean at all times.

Key Performance Indicators will include, but not limited to;

  1. Offloading stock is sorted according to company requirements and stock characteristics
  2. The stock received is recorded and checked against the required documentation as per the company’s procedures.
  3. All variances between actual stock and received and invoiced/ ordered stock are identified and resolved according to the company’s procedure
  4. Stock and or pallets/ containers are labelled/ referenced according to company procedures.
  5. Moving, packing and maintaining stock in the correct locations
  6. Maintaining a neat and tidy working area at all times.
  7. Adhere to company and regulations
  8. Adhere to safety rules and regulations
  9. Picking of correct parts as per invoices
  10. Checking that correct parts have been picked as per invoices
  11. Packing of parts already checked for collection or delivery to customers
  12. Sorting and preparing stock for stock counts
  13. Physical counting of stock
  14. Sorting and preparing stock for stock counts
  15. Physical counting of stock

Requirements 

  • Grade 12, Literacy and Numeracy equivalent
  • 3 Years in a Warehouse and or logistics environment
  • Must have motor parts knowledge, warehouse systems and procedures
  • Must have numeracy and literacy skills
  • Must be able to do Binning, Picking and Checking
  • Must have a positive approach
  • Must be efficient, accurate, focused and attention to detail is very important
  • Clear criminal record
