The above position is vacant as a Regional Contracts Manager. for CPS, SAPO and Net 1 in the North West region.
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all Regional security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.
The Regional Contracts Manager carries the accountability and responsibility for the safe achievement of Asset Protection targets as defined and compiled by Fidelity Security Services. The position entails the development and installation of a pro-active approach to all security issues in the workplace and requires the effective co-ordination and management of the support functions whose input is vital for targets to be achieved.
The incumbent will plan, lead, organise and control all activities of staff and liaise with all departments. The position will often take on the role of coach and instructor to explain how the work should be performed.
Key to this role is the translation of decisions, by focusing on improving, changing and optimising practices. Emphasis is generally on the differences between the and how of what needs to be done versus the way it actually gets done with a view of overcoming obstacles and /or differences that could retract from the realisation of set goals and standards. Focuses on finding ways and taking responsibility for corrective action that would eliminate problems and guarantee compliance with goals and objectives
Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate of equivalent.
PSIRA Grade A registered and accredited.
No Criminal Record or any pending cases.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is required.
Staff Management experience essential.
Must be based in Rustenburg or be willing to relocate at own cost.
Must be willing to work after hours or weekends.
Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package
Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
Strong leadership and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):
Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services and the client with regards to security services rendered according to client’s SLA
Ensuring the posting of Security Officers are done timeously.
Ensuring that all Security Officers on allocated areas meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the client.
Ensure that a formal security risk assessment is done for all new and existing sites.
Drafting of security recommendations based on the assessment and report of findings to the client.
Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of services.
General management and supervision of security staff to ensure that required performance is met at all times
Ensure that FSS Disciplinary Code and -Procedures within all disciplinary processes are fully complied with.
Chairing and/or participation in disciplinary enquiries as and when required.
Dealing with all required administration matters
Liaising daily with management on various operational issues
Investigating incidents and submitting relevant weekly/monthly incident reports to Management.
