Main purpose of the role:

Identify and approach potential clients to provide services and solution to. Oversee the induction of the new business to ensure client satisfaction and service of a high level is maintained. Manage the performance of the sales function for a region in line with the divisional strategy and operating plan to maximise sales and expand market share and achieve sales revenue targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the execution of the sales strategy of our new logistics business unit.
  • Translate regional and national sales strategies onto operational plans for the region to drive sales and meet and exceed revenue targets ;
  • Implement operational plans and priorities that align with the national sales strategy plan, canvas and develop new business opportunities and implement new sales concepts to maintain and expand market share;
  • Analyse and report on sales opportunities and achievements, and use data analyses to identify further opportunities;
  • Build strategic relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders through regular and ongoing communication;
  • Constantly evaluate and improve sales methods to ensure maximum efficiency;
  • Deliver sales presentations and proposals if and when required;
  • Provide input into the annual budget for the region that supports the sales strategy and sales operating plan;
  • Manage and attain revenue and expense budget objectives for the region;
  • Work closely with the Business Development manager to support the sales strategies;
  • Keep abreast of latest trends in sales effectiveness and adopt new approaches as required to expand client base and increase revenue; 


  • Grade 12
  • A relevant sales or marketing qualification.
  • 5 years’ proven management sales experience; Experience in relevant field (Media).
  • Advertising or media experience
  • Supervisory or management experience advantageous. 
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and packages
