Job description

Join a renowned publishing and printing establishment that works with clients in the FMCG and retail space as their Sales Manager/Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities

    • Increase business capacity by effectively marketing the business to current and new customers
    • Lead and manage a team to achieve and exceed sales targets
    • Actively seek out new and potential business
    • Grow and maintain existing client relationships
    • Develop and comply with sales plan
    • Conduct market research and keep track of trends
    • Identify new products and market niches
    • Assist with product and brand launches
    • Effective communication between internal teams and stakeholders
    • Resolve products and product issues with clients

Requirements

    • 5-10 years experience within a sales, advertising or similar industry
    • At least 5 to 10 years in leading and managing a team
    • Knowledge of printing processes and techniques
    • Strong POS marketing material understanding
    • Knowledge of plant capability and machine specifications
    • Creative brand and marketing knowledge
    • Understanding of the African market in retail and FMCG
    • Ability to cross sell digital applications, software solutions, carton, packaging etc
    • Ability to interact at senior management level
    • Attention to detail and a good listener
    • Comfortable with travelling into Africa
