Job Description



The above position is available at the Durban Branch, reporting to the Manager- Umsuka Wemali in KZN.

The main purpose of the position is to perform a micro loans consultation and administration function

Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)

Liaise with Branch management and other staff as to the issuing of loans and on  Umsuka Wemali policies and procedures and micro loan products on offer
Strict adherence to rules and regulations as contained in the National Credit Act
Get confirmation from Managers if any hearings against the guard and if loan can be approved
Inform clients if their loans have been approved or declines
Assist with promotions and distribution of marketing material
Manage and monitor problems, delays and rejections of applications
To improve customer service and relationships
Do cold calling to improve guard count on Umsuka
Filing of monthly loans
Doing sign flow as per rules and regulations
Scanning of loans to and Johannesburg
Making sure all decline loans is load up on credit ease system


Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Working knowledge of the SAP system and proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential. .
Ability to liaise professionally with management and other at all levels.
Ability to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict targets and deadlines
